    After winning season 10 of TV3 Talented Kids, 8-Year-Old poet Nakeeyat Dramani Sam was promised a lifetime scholarship by millionaire Kofi Abban but she has disclosed that Promise is still fulfilled.


    Nakeeyat was bold to tell Delay that the business mogul played on her intelligence and rode on her win at the reality show just for hype.

    The oil and Gas entrepreneur promised to take care of the young talent after making it known how astonished he was at the kid’s gift.

    Although Nakeeyat took home a 10,000-cedi cash prize, a 15,000-cedi educational fund, an all-expenses-paid trip to the UK, as well as souvenirs from sponsors, she expressed disappointment in Kofi Abban not meeting his claims.

    She echoed that she is now convinced Kofi Abban had gone back on his word after several visits to his office with her parents.

    Nakeeyat is currently on a scholarship at the Royals School located at Adenta in Accra and she revealed that her scholarship runs till her Tertiary level education.

    She made an appearance on GN Radio UK and Hot Digital Radio in London after she was nominated for Poetry-Spoken Word Discovery of the year at the Comedy and Poetry Awards held in 2020.

    Late Highlife musician and Legend, Kofi B goes home today+video

    Ghanaian Highlife singer and songwriter, Kofi Boakye Yiadom aka Kofi B goes home to the land of no return today.

    The final funeral has even started as of press time at the Agogo Presbyterian Park in the Ashanti Region as families, friends, and sympathizers file past his mortal remains to pay their last respect to the man who has greatly contributed to the growth of Highlife music in this country.

    The body of the late singer will then be conveyed to the Asante Akyem Agogo cemetery for interment. There will be a thanksgiving service to be held by the family on Sunday, November 8, 2020, at the Triumphant Christian Chapel at the Agogo Lorry station still in the Ashanti Region.

    Kofi B died in February of this year after he was rushed to the Cape Coast hospital after complaining of chest pains.

    Kofi B who was scheduled to perform at a concert on Saturday in Cape Coast was rushed to the hospital.

    He was put on oxygen and given some injections but he, unfortunately, lost his life on Sunday.

    Sunday’s acts of violence by some supporters of the ruling New Patriotic Party and the opposition National Democratic Congress at Jamestown in the Odododiodio constituency has been condemned by the general public.


    Speaking on the back of the recent clash, actress and radio presenter Afia Schwarzenegger has cautioned the youth against being used as instruments of violence by some politicians.


    Afia Schwarzenegger who made an appearance on Angel FM on Thursday, October 29, 2020, said that party supporters are free to campaign for their preferred candidates without causing unrest in the society.


    “Don’t kill yourself for politicians, we can join them make merry during their campaigns. Support your candidate without violence,” she advised.

    Mr Drew and Krymi stole their dw3 hit son g from me – Rasteo

    Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Rasteo has joined the tall list of artistes claiming signees of the Highly Spiritual label, Mr. Drew and Krymi stole their monster hit, ‘Dw3’ from them.


    Rasteo motioned that he recorded the song way back in 2018 and shared it on various platforms before the Highly Spiritual duo released the same song in 2019.


    “I recorded the song and shot the video for the song way back in 2018. I would not argue about it for long because I have the proof and any discerning mind will agree with me after seeing the proof”.
    Rasteo made this revelation in an interview with Happy 98.9 FM’s Doctar Cann on the ‘Showbiz Xtra’ entertainment show.


    When asked why he did not sue the duo for ‘stealing’ the song, Rasteo stated that he does not have the capacity to do so. “Comparing Mr. Drew and Krymi to me, you’ll notice that they have the resources as opposed to me. I don’t have the money for a law suit and I just leave everything into the hands of the Lord”.


    Soon after the release of ‘Dw3’ by Mr. Drew and Krymi which featured Ghanaian rap star Sarkodie, former signee of Highly Spiritual, Kurl Songx came out to claim the song was stolen from him.


    He argued that he wrote the song with his former boss, Kaywa who then gave the song to the duo to record after he (Kurl Songx) parted ways with the Highly Spiritual label.
