Former President of Ghana Jerry John Rawlings will bury his mother Victoria Agbotui on Saturday, October 24, 2020.
Madam Agbotui who was aged 101 passed away on September 24, 2020 after suffering a short illness.
She will be buried at Dzelukope and all mourners are expected to wear white to celebrate her life which was well-lived.
According to the programme released, a pre-burial service will be held in her honour at the forecourt of the State House in Accra, before the body will be taken to the Ketasco Park in Keta in the Volta Region, for her final burial service.
Victoria Agbotui became known in Ghana’s political circles when her son became the President of the country.
She is said to have been the team lead of the catering department of the Castle at of the time.
The Saint Monica’s College of Education Alumni is Mourning the death of Gladys Ansong who graduated recently and was on the field starting life as a young beautiful teacher.
Her bosom friend who broke the sad news on Facebook and further posted on her WhatsApp status explained that, Gladys Ansong fell sick but could not come out strong.
Gloria is the second child of her mother who sells kenkey on the saints Monica’s College of Education campus.
Death has entered the Saint Monica’s College of Education at Asante Mampong and sadly taken away Gladys Ansong the beautiful daughter of the renowned Madam Gloria Kaakyire popularly known as Maame Dokono.

Ghanaian dancer Incredible Zigi said, he was arrested by officers of the Ghana Police Service, whiles he was out celebrating his birthday. Accrording to the dancer, he was arrested and handcuffed because of how he looks.
Hours before that, Incredible Zigi, who is spotting dreadlocks, had spent time with his friends to celebrate his birthday.
The alleged police profiling on the dancer based on his physical appearance is similar to what Nigerians are currently fighting for their police to stop doing in the End SARS protests.

Ghanaian actress and model, Pamela Odame Watara has denied ever sleeping with Nana Tornado.
Tornado in a recent interview alleged that Pamela was a prostitute and he slept with her some time ago.

Under the pretense of partnering with the United Nations and the respected legacy of the late Dr Kofi Annan, he contrived to organize an awards ceremony (succeeded quite brilliantly) and presented trophies and citations to over 20 accomplished Ghanaian personalities who he described as having achieved extraordinary feats in their endeavors.

According to a report filed by PeaceFM’s correspondent and HelloFM’s General Manager, Samson K. Nyamekye, ‘Dr. UN’ has been on the radar of the security agencies for quite some time now, after a fake award ceremony he organized in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.
He was arrested after it was reported that the award scheme which was held in 2018 was fake and was later granted bail.
The court subsequently issued an arrest warrant after he flouted his bail conditions.

Having been hit with generational curses amidst public backlash, Henewaa_piesie2, an Instagram user who labelled actress and television host, Selly Galley-Fiawoo a “barren woman” has come out to apologize.
On Wednesday, October 14, 2020, Selly took to her Instagram page to lament how Henewaa_piesie2 has been stalking her on Instagram and writing abusive comments about her.
Sharing one of such comments under a picture she had shared on her page, the said henewaa_piesie2 wrote, “horror face n (and) barren woman”.
Infuriated by the cyberbully, Selly went on a tirade invoking generational curses on the lady.
“For these ignorant words of insults that came out of your mouth to me, seeking to cause me pain and unhappiness for absolutely nothing I’ve done to you or your family… I say to you this Wednesday noon of October 14, 2020, that you will not live to prosper and be happy. Songstress Wendy Shay says she is heading to the Human Rights Court to sue the Food And Drugs Authority(FDA) and the Gaming Commission for banning celebrities from endorsing alcoholic products and betting companies.
The FDA has barred Ghanaian celebrities from advertising alcoholic products in the country.
Recently, the Gaming Commission also banned betting companies from using celebrities for their advertisement and endorsements; a move which seems to be on the bad side of Ghanaian celebrities since most of them have contracts with betting companies.

The singer has in a tweet called on her colleagues to come together to help fight these regulatory bodies because they are blocking their source of daily bread by preventing them from representing as ambassadors for organizations that produce alcoholic beverages and those who are in the betting industry.

Ghanaian popular broadcaster, Abeiku Santana born Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana has disclosed how his friends tried to chase his wife fifteen years ago but didn’t succeed.
