SANDRA ANKOBIAH ALSO SNATCHED SOMEONE’S HUSBAND,TALK ABOUT HER – FELLA MAKAFUI

The embattled Ghanaian actress, Fella Makafui who is being trolled all over social media in Ghana for snatching the boyfriend of Ghanaian songstress Deborah Vanessa aka Sister Derby has dropped some wild allegations against Sandra Ankobiah, the actress which has set social media on fire.

According to Fella Makafui, Sandra Ankobiah has also snatched someone’s husband yet Ghanaian bloggers are not discussing her but they are dragging her (Fella) through the mud.

Fella Makafui jumped into the DM of Ghost Instagram blogger, thosecalledcelebs a few moments and ago and besides begging her to delete trolling posts about her and her new boyfriend, Medikal whom she snatched from Derby, Fella queried why she deleted posts about Sandra Ankobiah after she was accused of snatching someone’s husband.

You see, not quite long ago, thosecalledcelebs dropped the gist that Sandra Ankobiah was dating Kofi Boat, the popular rich man who is a close friend of self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Shatta Wale.

But a few hours later, the post was deleted for lack of evidence and many people believe Sandra Ankobiah and possibly Kofi Boat negotiated with the blogger at a price to take the post down.

It was based on this that Fella Makafui could not understand why bloggers are comfortable discussing her boyfriend snatching issues when Sandra Ankobiah who snatched someone’s husband has been left off the hook.

  • I WAS ASSAULTED BY A MARRIED MAN WHO WAS IN DENIAL THAT I JILTED HIM – BENEDICTA GAFAH

I WAS ASSAULTED BY A MARRIED MAN WHO WAS IN DENIAL THAT I JILTED HIM – BENEDICTA GAFAH

Kumawood actress Benedicta Gafah has finally shared a photo of her damaged face after been assaulted by a man she failed to disclose.

According to actress Benedicta Gafah, she was abused by a man from around 4 years ago abused her after she found out that he was cheating on her and opted to leave.

The photo which was earlier shared by controversial Tv personality, Afia Schwarzenegger with the caption ‘when it is coming.. #benedictagaffah on political police tomorrow… I also want to hear the gist’ could be seen as a move to get her on her talk show but that pushed Gafah to address the issue to her followers.

The Zylofon signee then took to her IG page and shared the photo with full details of how she got into such embarrassment as the caption.

“This is the only time I will address this situation and I won’t go into detail! My dear @queenafiaschwarzenegger, regardless of everything that has transpired between me and you, I love you as a strong woman that doesn’t conform to society and men! More so because I have seen you stand up to men that want to belittle and abuse women!

I was abused by a man who was in denial that I left him because I found out that he was married and I refused to continue the relationship we were in, after his wife called me to narrate everything to me. When the man that sent you the picture of my brutally beaten face, my wish was that you ask him What kind of man take joy and pleasure for doing such a heinous act and then send to people?

Why does he want me to take the case out of court by reaching out to soo many respectable people? Why is he offering me things to end this matter in court? I will let the laws of the country take care of the rest!! I know there are lots of victims like me being abused emotionally and physically every single day but are scared to speak out just because of what society will say.

There’s this negative stigma to people in the entertainment industry especially women. We are perceived to be evil and money hungry but deep down lots of us have hearts of gold.

There are thousands of ladies being abused daily. This is a PROBLEM! I’m not ashamed of this picture at all. This picture is a reflection of our world today and the plight women go through every day.

I went through this 4 years ago and by the Lords grace, look at me now. I have favor with the Lord and living my best life!!!,” her post read.

  • GOVERNMENT TO BE STRICT ON ENFORCING PROCUREMENT LAW IN 2019

GOVERNMENT TO BE STRICT ON ENFORCING PROCUREMENT LAW IN 2019

the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta has stated that government will ensure efficient public spending in 2019 by enforcing the Public Procurement Act (PPA)

Mr. Ofori-Atta explained that the PPA has the capacity and legal backing to assess all sole-sourced projects in the country.

Sole sourcing of projects has over the years become a heated political issue due to suspected over bloating of projects to benefit some contractors.

According to the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta the move is necessary to maximize domestic resource mobilization and increase efficiency in public spending.

“ We intend to maximize domestic resource mobilization and increase Tax Revenue-to-GDP ratio to levels in line with our peer Lower Middle-Income countries;  implement expenditure efficiency and rationalisation measures to increase efficiency in public spending and free more fiscal space for growth oriented and job-creating programmes”, he stated.

He added, “We will enforce the Public Procurement Act and ensure sole sourcing is minimized to promote competition and efficiency in public spending, thereby, promoting value for money”.

  • GHANA’S DEBT STOCK HITS 70% OF GDP

GHANA’S DEBT STOCK HITS 70% OF GDP

Ghana’s debt stock has increased from GHC 142 billion in 2017, to GHC 170bn in 2018, constituting 70% of the country’s GDP.

This is according to the 2019 Budget Statement and Economic Policy document presented by the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta to Parliament on Thursday.

Presenting the statement, Mr. Ofori-Atta said the high increase in the public debt was a result of the government’s financial commitments in cleaning up the financial sector.

“Mr. Speaker, the nominal public debt stock as at end September 2018 was GH¢170.8 billion, comprising external and domestic debt of GH¢86.6 billion and GH¢84.1 billion, respectively. The overall rate of debt accumulation in 2018 is 19.8 percent, driven primarily by the cost of the clean-up of the financial sector, involving resolution of the seven (7) defunct banks. The rate of debt accumulation would have been 11.5 percent without the clean-up exercise,” he said.

“Mr. Speaker, public debt (including financial sector bailout) as a percentage of GDP stood at 70.7 percent at the end of September 2018 compared with 69.2 percent during the same period in 2017. The public debt stock (excluding the financial sector clean-up cost) as a ratio of GDP is 66.5 percent. In terms of the rebased GDP, the public debt to GDP ratio is 57.2 percent (including financial sector clean-up cost) and 53.9 percent (excluding clean-up cost),” he added.

At 70.7%, Ghana has gone past the dreaded 70 percent of GDP point the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has constantly cautioned the country against.

Despite the figure quoted by the Minister, IMF data shows that Ghana’s debt to GDP ratio now stands at 71.2%.

Effectively, every citizen of Ghana’s about 29 million population, owes nearly GHS 5,600.

Gov’t targets GHS 58.9bn domestic revenue collection in 2019

Meanwhile, Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta has announced a revenue target of GHS 58.9 billion for the year 2019.

The figure represents 17.1 percent of the rebased GDP, which stands at 256.7 billion Ghana Cedis for 2017.

Compared to the 2018 revised revenue and grants target of 50.68 billion Ghana Cedis, the 2019 target of 58.9 billion Ghana Cedis represents a 13.96 percentage increase.

  • NANA BORRO AND CWESI OTENG TRADE BLOWS ON SOCIAL MEDIA

NANA BORRO AND CWESI OTENG TRADE BLOWS ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Tema-based hiplife artiste Nana Borro and Contemporary Gospel artiste Cwesi Oteng have taken to social media to dirty themselves after Nana Borro alleged in an interview with SVTV that he used to supply him with condoms.

Cwesi Oteng who seemed not pleased with the statement passed by the “Aha y3 de” hitmaker took to Twitter to respond to the claims stating that the statement was false and that Nana Borro needed hype so he could trend that was why he made such statement.

Minutes after the gospel artiste denied the allegation, Nana Borro launched a fresh attack stating that most of these gospel musicians act like they are holier than the “pope” but in reality, they are no different from them, the circular artistes, who are tagged, sinners.

Nana Boroo went on further to say that if he indeed he wants attention, then, Cwesi Oteng isn’t the right person to descend on.

“Ghanaians are discerning my brother!!! Amongst the listed artist you are the only one here throwing tantrums. Who is seeking attention here if I won’t pick on someone @CwesiOteng you will be the last on my list .

@Hitz1039FM I no have your time ?”, Nana Boroo’s second tweet reads.

Well, it didn’t end there as Cwesi Oteng also hit back expressing shock as to how Nana Boro will blatantly lie on the radio and come back to quote the Bible.

He tells Nana Boro to believe in himself and stop using the good name of people like him and Kaywa as a means to get back into the music industry.

Cwesi Oteng leaves time to be the judge for the “lies” he says Nana Boro has been telling

  • REASONS EVERYONE LOVES ACTRESS MARTHA ANKOMAH

REASONS EVERYONE LOVES ACTRESS MARTHA ANKOMAH

For a moment, I thought I was the only who had so much admiration for Ghanaian actress Martha Ankomah but hey, that is far from right.

There are a bunch of us (lol). I remember the former manager of Samini, Tony Pun almost ‘fighting’ me on Facebook for declaring my ‘love’ for Martha. He loves her as well.

Well, in a regular post on Facebook to find out why almost everyone loves the actress, I sought opinions from my friends and the following were some of the reasons they gave.

From wearing that beautiful smile all the time to how well she carries herself, one thing seemed to run through almost all the comments and guess what that was? Your guess may be as good as mine.

According to Naa Laryea, Martha is a society’s definition of a good girl.

Radio personality Nana Obiri-Yeboah described her as “very decent”.

He seemed to shared same opinion with TV personality Abena Owusu Nyamekye who says Martha is loved because “Decency is respectable and attractive.”

Other adjectives used to describe her include “calm, a nurtured lady”.

The actress who has been off the screens for a pretty long time was recently named as a brand influencer for GTP, the name behind authentic and original Ghanaian textile prints.

Quiet in nature, she is one of the celebrities to have stayed out of any trouble or bad press since the beginning of her career.
