  • SYMPTOMS OF EXCESS SUGAR CONSUMPTION.

    SYMPTOMS OF EXCESS SUGAR CONSUMPTION.

Sugar is sweet. In fact, it is very delicious and no one can deny this. But despite its sweetness, too much consumption of it comes with loads of health dangers.

Once you learn all the dangers sugar brings to your body, you may not want to use it again.

    With these said, how do you know you are consuming to much sugar? Read on;

    1. You’ve started gaining some weight

Sugar has no important nutrient if not its excess calories. When you consume a lot of sugar, it triggers your body to release insulin hormone.

    2. You start having teeth cavities

Sugar is the main cause of cavities on teeth especially the molars. When you consume too sugary foods, the bacteria in between your teeth work on it producing acids with cause tooth decay and cavities.

    3. Your skin has become prematurely wrinkled

Too much sugar could cause your skin to form wrinkles prematurely. This is because sugar reacts with proteins in your bloodstream forming advanced glycation endproducts (AGEs) which damage the structure of the skin.

    4. You have pain in the joints

Pain in the joints or rather arthritis has been linked to too much sugar. People who have five or more sweetened drinks a day could suffer this problem. This, however, does not necessarily mean sugar causes arthritis but it could be the reason behind your pains.

When you eat sugar, you will be high in energy and then the energy levels will fall after a short while. This makes you feel moody and tired until you have your sugar again. Sugar is found in foods like soft drinks, cakes, cookies, ice cream and sugar itself.

  • CAUSES OF BODY ODOUR

    CAUSES OF BODY ODOUR

When the body gives off an odor that people find offensive, it is known as body odour and this occurs when bacteria that live on the skin break down sweat into acids. According to research,  sweat is actually odourless, it is the bacteria that live and grow under your arms that causes body odor.

Some people naturally have more bacteria under their arms and therefore have a harder time controlling odor. There are also certain people prone to body odor and it might become a fixed issue if steps are not taken in time to fix this. Below are some causes of body odor:

    Sugar

If you are the type that takes too much of sugary things, it might cause body odor. This happens when eating too many sugary snacks causes the body to overproduce yeast, which turns the sugars into alcohol, and this contributes to odor. It is always advisable to reduce the sugar content being taken to avoid cases such as body odor.

    Synthetic clothing

Synthetic clothing keeps sweat locked in because there is no way for them to go out. This leads to sweat staying on the body surface, this promotes the growth of bacteria which can cause body odor if the body is not taken care of adequately.

    Spicy food

Foods that contain ingredients such as garlic, curry and some other spices release sulfur-containing gasses which the body breaks down and when it comes out in the pores, it may cause the lingering smell.

    Alcohol

A constant intake of alcohol can cause body odor. Alcohol when taken, comes out through the pores, however, when the liver is damaged,  it metabolizes less of the alcohol, leaving more to come out through your body odor.

    Not washing your brassiere

When you repeat the same bra, it causes body odor. According to medical research, a bra’s fabric touches beneath your arms, across your back and between your breasts and chest, all areas prone to sweat, and to that the fact that bras are often made of fabrics that don’t take in away moisture.

“The moisture can make bacteria and fungus overgrow,” that trapped sweat and moisture cause bad odor and rashes. The most important thing is to watch what is eaten and ensure you are neat always.

Some of us are having meetings and we are thinking about a lot of things.

When you go to Europe football is run by footballers.

We are still learning and watching whatever is going on so when we come we don’t make the same mistakes.

“We are not going to accept it. What the Police are saying is totally out of the contest and we are not going to accept it. If they are saying so then it means that the CID boss, the interior Minister and the National Security Minister have to step down before we go mad. At this time? • Threatening to sue Bank of Ghana-Adongo

Threatening to sue Bank of Ghana-Adongo

The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central Isaac Adongo has threatened to sue the Bank of Ghana (BoG) over what he called its non-compliance with its laws.

In the letter to the Attorney General written by his lawyers, Mr. Adongo suggested that it was ironical for the Bank of Ghana to abolish the financial sector with its formulated law but “[the BoG] has itself fallen foul of its duties under the Bank of Ghana Act.”

The lawyers referenced section 53 of the Bank of Ghana Act which requires the BoG to submit a report to Parliament once every six months on all foreign exchange received and payment and transfers outside Ghana, the conduct of activities under its mandate and any other relevant functions.

He stated that “the Bank of Ghana has either failed and or neglected to comply with this statutory reporting requirement and is therefore in clear breach of the Bank of Ghana Act.”

“In the circumstances, our client instructs us to serve notice, which we hereby do, that he intends to proceed to court to compel the Bank of Ghana to comply within the law within one month of receipt of this letter by your office.”

Mr. Adongo had written an article on this issue where he called the BoG “a lawless entity.”

He said the Central Bank was setting bad examples for corporate governance in the financial sector.

“You will recall that by May 2018, BoG was in breach of its obligation to publish its audited financial statements by 31st March. I subsequently drew attention to this breach and it was finally rectified.”

In that article, he was questioning the source of $800 million the BoG was to use to shore up the cedi which was fast depreciating at the time.

The MP for Bolgatanga Central Mr. Isaac Adongo urged the BoG to “comply with its obligations to Parliament and answer for its gradual reserves and the deteriorating health of the cedi.”

Neymar Scores Stunning Overhead Kick to Fire PSG to a Win

Neymar shrugged off a hostile reception as he marked his return to action for Paris Saint-Germain with a stunning injury-time winner on Saturday, and then insisted it was time to move on from the saga of his aborted return to Barcelona.

The world’s most expensive player was booed and insulted by sections of the PSG support in the Ligue 1 match against Strasbourg at the Parc des Princes.

That seemed set to be the only story of the afternoon until the second minute of added time when, with the game still goalless, the Brazilian met Abdou Diallo’s cross with an acrobatic effort that sent the ball arcing back over his own head and in off the post, sealing a 1-0 win.

It was a remarkable goal and a reminder of why PSG paid a world record 222 million euros ($264 million at the time) to sign Neymar in 2017. It also leaves them two points clear of Rennes at the top of Ligue 1.

“I made it clear that I have nothing against the fans, nothing against Paris Saint-Germain as a club. Everyone knows I wanted to leave. I am not going to get into the details of what happened,” he said after the game.

“It is time to turn the page. Today I am a Paris Saint-Germain player and I am going to give everything on the field.

Xhaka – Arsenal Were Scared Against Watford.

Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka conceded he and his team-mates were ‘scared’ in the second half of their Premier League clash with Watford on Sunday, allowing the Hornets to battle back for a 2-2 draw.

The Gunners took a two-goal lead in the first half thanks to a brace from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the second a superb team goal, with the Gabon international capping off a 20-pass move.

Two defensive errors in the second period led to Watford pulling level and eventually gaining a share of the spoils.

Xhaka was honest about his team’s performance after the match, saying the Gunners were disappointed and had been punished for being ‘scared’.

“We are very disappointed, we had a good first half and then we came out and played so bad in the second half,” he said to BBC Sport. “We paid for that.

“We knew they had nothing to lose and they would come for us but we didn’t show our game, we were too scared, nobody wanted the ball.

RB Leipzig Holds Bayern to Frustrating Draw

Robert Lewandowski’s 199th goal for Bayern Munich was not enough to claim the points as RB Leipzig fought back through Emil Forsberg’s penalty to draw 1-1 in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

In their first meeting with Leipzig since a 3-0 DFB-Pokal final win in May, Lewandowski edged closer to a double century of Bayern goals to put Niko Kovac’s side ahead.

But, after Bayern had a penalty overturned by VAR, Forsberg leveled matters from 12 yards on the stroke of half-time.

A rejuvenated Leipzig found Manuel Neuer in top form after the restart, though Bayern would have snatched it had Peter Gulacsi not managed to tip Kingsley Coman’s deflected effort onto the woodwork as Leipzig held firm to move back into the top spot after being briefly replaced by Borussia Dortmund.
