Aaron Ramsey was Wales’ hero as Ryan Giggs’ side secured
qualification for Euro 2020 with a 2-0 home win over Hungary.
One of the stand-out performers in his country’s surprise
run to the semi-finals of Euro 2016, Ramsey was making his first start of the
current campaign following persistent fitness problems.
But the Juventus midfielder re-announced himself in style at
a fervent Cardiff City Stadium, scoring a goal in each half as Wales deservedly
claimed the win they needed to leapfrog Hungary and take the second automatic
qualifying spot in Group E.
Gareth Bale, Daniel James, and the goal scorer buzzed effectively behind imposing target man Kieffer Moore throughout, although Giggs was also indebted to some first-half heroics from goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey.
Mauricio Pochettino has been sacked from his role as Tottenham coach, it has been confirmed. Pochettino joined Spurs in 2014 and took the team to new heights when he guided them to a second-place finish in the Premier League in 2016-17.

to Liverpool in Madrid.

underwhelming start to the current season.
They sit 14th in the Premier League table and 20 points
behind leaders Liverpool and are 11 points adrift of the top four after 12
games.

Three-time Premier League winner Jose Mourinho is in talks with Tottenham about becoming their next manager, following the dismissal of Mauricio Pochettino on Tuesday.

An announcement could come as soon as Wednesday morning but
that will all depend on how negotiations go between the two parties.
Mourinho’s last stint as a manager came at Old Trafford, where he was sacked in December 2018 following a poor run of results. The 56-year-old isn’t short of Premier League experience and won the title three times while at Chelsea.

Championships which will be the evergreen forward’s fifth.
The Juventus forward scored his 99th international goal when
he tapped home Portugal’s second and final goal against Luxembourg, a result
which ensured that they would be able to defend their title as Europe’s elite
international side.
Although he was happy with the result, the 34-year-old was
scathing of the surface at the Stade Josy Barthel.
It is always important and a proud occasion to represent the national team, and scoring goals that helped us qualify, he said after the game.
We had two games we had to win. I am very happy that we won,
and qualified for my fifth European Championships.
It’s difficult to play on these types of fields, a potato
field. I don’t know how it’s possible for teams at this level to play on fields
of this quality.
The performance wasn’t beautiful, but we did our job. It was
the pitch we had to play and, and we won 2-0, which was our priority.

Dating is fun. But it can
also be a downright disaster. How many times have you ended up heartbroken and
didn’t see it coming?
So if you don’t want to
waste your time, you have to be prepared. Look out for anyone who does these
things.
1. They lie
even with the smallest things
If they can lie about
what they did over the weekend, they can lie about big things, too. Honesty and
trust are the foundations of a healthy and secure relationship. If someone is
inconsistent with their stories, how can you trust them in the long run?
One white lie is
understandable enough, but when you find someone constantly lying and changing
their story, you should run the other way.
2. They hide
their phones
It’s one thing to protect your privacy. It’s another thing when someone gets really sketchy about it.
Someone who is
trustworthy wouldn’t go to such lengths to keep their phones or computer from
you.
I’m not saying they
should give you their passwords and access to their emails. Every couple should
establish healthy boundaries. But if they’re not allowing you anywhere close to
their phone, there’s something fishy.
This is a serious warning sign. It means they’re hiding something and you can’t trust them. And without trust, a relationship can’t grow.
A little competitiveness
is good for any relationship. But you should never tolerate someone who always
puts you down.
You should be with
someone supportive, someone who celebrates your success. Not someone who looks
down on what you do.
As they say, you
are the sun. Don’t let anyone else dim your light.
4. They’re
extremely jealous
Extreme jealousy,
especially at the beginning of a relationship is a serious sign of toxic
behavior. Sure, it’s flattering when someone is protective of you. But
unreasonable jealousy doesn’t signal a secure start.
In fact, jealousy can
grow into more serious toxic patterns like manipulation,
control, and even abuse.
The foundation of a
healthy and happy relationship is based on trust and respect.
A jealous person is
unable and unwilling to trust you and respect you. It’s really as simple as
that.
5. They’re
constantly talking about their ex
Another dead giveaway is
if they’re always talking about their ex. worse, is if they’re talking
negatively about the past.
Usually, it’s a sign
they’re not over their previous relationship. And you don’t want to be caught
as a rebound.
However, it can also be a
sign that they blame their ex and take no responsibility for the breakup. This
might mean they will never acknowledge their destructive behaviors in your
relationship, too.
6. They don’t
respect your boundaries
It’s true, a good
relationship is where compromises are made. But even when you’re a couple,
there are certain lines that should never be crossed.
If you’re dating someone who’s always making you do things you’re uncomfortable with, it’s not a good sign for the future.
