Ghanas own and Africas first all-female band celebrates 10years in doing music and performance.

Founded in 2009 by three octave treble, alto, tenor voice and former GBC leader Della Hayes . The band has since gotten from strength to strength with multiple awards and nominations and is now set to perform at Alliance Francaise on September 14th, 2019 at 7 pm prompt. Tickets going out for 30 Ghana cedis and 15 cedis for students.

Majority of the songs to be performed are their own songs in Afrobeats, High Life and Hippidippip (their own unique style ). Though they will also do a few Ghana Classics. There will also be collaborations with top sensation Ghanaian singers like Naa Amanua , Asabea Cropper and the Kumasi Golden Ladies Band.

The band has performed at about all the major festivals in the sub regions and has been a catalyst for the forming of all women music bands since formed (2 in Ghana and 1 in Abidjan).

In recent interview in the Showbiz Newspaper, Della said “celebrating ten years for any band is not a small thing. Celebrating ten years with the all-women band is a very big thing and starting the first-ever female band in Africa against all the odds and nay sayers was rocketer at that time. We want to say a big thank you to the people who have been of great support to us over the past ten years and celebrating with us “.

Della will also commission her ‘Della , Womanity & You’ agenda, an event where the Strengths, talents, and skills of women are projected.

Takoradi base young talented Gospel artist Minister EL Manuel has been selected along side Ruth Adjei with as one of the special gospel artist to perform at this years International Gathering of Eagles and Young leaders Conference including other ministers .

The event is annually hosted by the Center of Hope Global Missions in the United Kingdom and this years conference come with the theme “Nothing To Loose” taken from the book of 1Samuel 30 vrs 8 , from the 13th to 15th of Semptember 2019 @ fellowship house 90, Dunstable Road Luton Bedfordshire LU1 1EH

Host Apostle Dr. Nordine Campbell is glad and of the view that this years conference will inspire and encourage the youth to take up leadership resposibilities no matter the challenges .

Minister EL Manuel who once won Western Regions Gospel Artist of the year speaking to vhillageblogger of this news portal is grateful to be part of this years Gathering of Young Leaders Confernce which has also given him the opportunity to perform and minister out of his mother land Ghana. The future seems very bright and he is very grateful to God for honouring his calling as a Gospel artists from the Western Region which has seen less previllages in the music industry. Born Fidelis Samson Denkyi, stage named Botoe a Ga language which literally means Listen . A native of Kwahu Asaka in the Eastern Region of the Republic of Ghana. Botoe was brought up in Tema. Had his primary schooling in Tema Newtown.

Speaking to Vhillageblogger of dikoder.com on Entertainment Extra on Saturday, he explained that he identified his talent in primary but had it seriously when a voice asks him to pick pen and paper and start writing music.

Being a past student of Tema Presec, he quoted that … “I love music in-fact good music but above all rap music even though at a tender age I love music so I wasn’t surprised I had it as a calling. For me what motivates me to do music especially rap is the passion to do good music to inspire, entertain and educate. I said, its a call on me to do Rap music “

Speaking on his latest banger “Rap Messiah” he explains that the song is about a young street kid who is full of talent to sing and has dreams of making it to the Grammys but all hope seems lost because of lack of support from home and other friends.

He brags about his rap talent and the journey to this level in his much-anticipated punch lines in the new banger to decorate himself as the next big star to come from the streets of Accra.

The song was produced by Chensee Beats in Accra.

Confusion in BHIM Nation, Stonebwoy, manager part ways?

Since dance-hall musician, Stonebwoy, unfollowed his protégé, Kelvyn Boy on Instagram, many questions have been asked about happenings in the BHIM Nation camp.

Vhillageblogger of dikoder.com gathers that the team for some time now has had disagreements pertaining to the management of artistes on the label.

According to our sources, Blakk Cedi, Stonebwoy’s manager is being accused of allegedly mishandling funds of Stonebwoy.

This has caused distrust between the artiste and his manager.

Stonebwoy is also allegedly unhappy Blakk Cedi is focused on promoting Kelvyn Boy.

The argument has, however, been raised that the ‘Tuff Seed’ hitmaker is an already established artiste hence it is important to give attention to the new artiste.

After Stonebwoy unfollowed Kelvyn Boy, his next post suggested the artiste he had helped is being ungrateful.

The incident has ignited rumours of Kelvyn Boy failing to acknowledge the push Stonebwoy has put in to grow his career. There are reports that Kelvyn Boy was never signed to BHIM Nation but rather, he was signed and managed by Blakk Arm Group, owned by Blakk Cedi.

The sources added that although Blakk Cedi and Stonebwoy are usually on tour together, the former is already in Ghana while the later is still in London for the Shuga tour.

There are reports that the duo has already parted ways.
