Capasta – Blessings second major single release

This is the second major single release coming from the Ambandi House. Capasta is belting out the Blessings this time around and urging us not to give up, no matter the circumstances.

The Gucci Ferrari hitmaker got inspired by his experiences in traveling and connecting with people through his passion for youth development and music. Life has its challenges, after all, it’s how we manage it. Work hard in silence and let your success make the noise.

Know who you are and stay true to it. Have a point of view, keep your head down when the noise tries to drown out your inner voice. Whatever you do, keep pushing the blessing within. No matter what has happened to you in the past or what is going on in your life right now, it has no power to keep you from having an amazing future as long as you have faith in God. God Love You! So never give up.

Know that when your determination exists, failure can never dismantle your flag of success. The memories and dreams are all part and parcel of the blessings acquired daily. Blessings and favor shall rain. Attachments area

After being featured on the network, Nana NYC decided to learn how to market himself in order to appeal to more promoters who would eventually book him for shows. Working with the likes of Boogie Down Nima Productions and a few Production houses abroad, Nana NYC eventually got into organizing and promoting events himself. While doing promotion he was still in the Recording studio recording music, although he states that he didn’t have any immediate plans of dropping an album. • Why are men fully clothed in music videos but the females are not – Okraku Mantey questions

Why are men fully clothed in music videos but the females are not – Okraku Mantey questions

The President of the Creative Arts Industry and entertainment critic Mark Okraku Mantey has slammed musicians for always using half naked girls in their music videos.

According to Mark, he cannot tell why in most music videos, the men are fully covered while the females are half naked.

He stated that such act is not right adding that musicians must portray the culture of Ghana in their videos and stop showing explicit content.

Mark Okraku Mantey further stated that there should be a system to check such things and how the youth also consume explicit content.

    Mark Okraku Mantey

“Most of our videos, you will see the woman half naked and the man fully dressed. It sends a signal that the men are covering themselves and making the women be girls, and it’s not cool.

Sarkodie’s Lucky video, for example, Sarkodie was full dressed-all white but the ladies in Bikini exposing their parts, why?.

We must build our culture. We need to have a system that checks how young people consume sexual content”, Mark Okraku noted.

It is very common to see naked or half-clothed girls in music videos in recent times and musicians claim that such scenes make the video attractive and pleasing to watch.

Some musicians also claim that “sex sells” and having naked girls in their music videos also portrays the beauty of women.

Obrafour’s documentary premiere in limbo? Hammer raises objection

Veteran music producer Edward Nana Poku Osei known in showbiz as Hammer has said that he has called for the suspension of Obrafour’s ‘Pae Mu Ka’ documentary.

The management had scheduled the premiere of the documentary for September 27, 2019, at the Silverbird Cinema.

Hammer who has been the godfather of Obrafour since the nascent stages of the rapper’s career told Kwame Dadzie in an interview on Citi FM’s ‘Celebrity Radar’ that he has spotted some inconsistencies in the accounts given by some of the people that featured in the documentary and would not wish that it goes out uncorrected.

“Even the documentary producers have sighted inconsistencies in people’s stories yet they are going ahead anyway. The writer of the book is also reporting inconsistencies in people’s accounts yet they are allowing it to go ahead because of a premiere they booked,” he said.

“I won’t have that because the situation is that this thing is for posterity. It has to be said right, it has to be told right. You can’t take back what comes out. When something is released it is released forever and I won’t sit down and allow some of these things,” he added.

He further stated that Obrafour had given him his consent to pull the reins on the release of the documentary until the corrections are done.

Meanwhile, the management of Obrafour have been tight-lipped about the new development.

When asked by ghanaweekend.com if the premiere would be held on the scheduled date, management team member, Edward Owusu said they could not confirm.

However, the producer of the documentary, Nathalie Anang says she has not received any directive from the management to suspend the premiere.

This comes a few weeks after controversies were rife about Sarkodie’s unavailability for the shoot of the documentary.

In the meantime, Sarkodie who could not feature in the initial work has shot his part and will be featured in the final product.
