    So You People No Dey Care About COVID Anymore? – Joey B Quizzes

    The breakdown in the adherence to the measures put in place to curtail the spread of COVID-19 has pushed Joey B to question why Ghanaians are no more concerned about the ramification of their actions.

    In the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak, every Tom, Dick and Harry was advised to put on face coverings, sanitize their hands and surfaces, observe social distancing and be far away from public gatherings.

    Infact, a lockdown was imposed to compel many to be indoors as they peeped through their windows with anxiety to see Coronavirus walk past their doorposts with no one around to sting.

    All these measures were influneced by cautuion, science and data but in other instances influenced by fear, apprehension and timidity. However, as the cases reduce and the infection rate subside, many believe it is time to go out and assume life is back to normal.

    Following that, Darryl Paa Kwesi Bannerman-Martin aka Joey B has expressed concern and is asking Ghanaians why they have decided, now, not to comply with the COVID-induced precautions.

Although her death was emotionally and psychologically excruciating and unbearing, many applauded her for her wholesome contribution to the growth of the music industry and endeared her for the energy and talent she exhibited when she was alive.

    For Wendy Shay, she could never have come this far, if not for the work Ebony Reigns had done, the mark she has set and the torch of recognition for female acts she had lit.

    Ghanaian contemporary gospel singer, Nana Yaw Boakye who is better known by his stage name MOG Music, is telling Sarkodie and his Sarkcess team to consider putting up a show for prisoners.

    According to him a show in the prison quarters for these individuals who have been away from the thrills and fun of normal life will do a great deal of good to their psychological and emotional health.

    In a tweet, MOG Music opines that the inmates also deserve some level of fun thus a show by Sarkodie for our brothers and sisters behind the thick walls of solitude will not only bring them joy but also serve as a great avenue for them to be encouraged to lead better lives when they are eventually freed to go home.

    MOG wrote on his twitter page: I humble suggestion to @sarkodie and his team. I think you should do a show for the prisoners one of these days and also encourage them to leave a better life when they come out. Am sure it will mean a lot to them. What do you think?

    There has always been the argument of why Nigerian music and artistes do so well than Ghanaian artistes and music. In these conversations, mostly people put the blame on the numbers but according to the comedian this is not true because Jamaica don’t have numbers but have their songs every where.

    According to Pararan, he has been monitoring the news coming in from Ghana and he has realized they are mostly about quarrels, and mentioning Papa No and Mzbel.

    He said when artistes come for interviews, presenters turn to ask them questions that will make them say negative things so they post on social media which is not helping.

    He went ahead to give examples on how Nigerians are currently promoting the albums of their artistes, like Burna Boy, Fire Boy and others saying the quarrels being promoted is too much and it should be reduced and used to promote our artistes instead.

    On the 10th of August, 2020 an incident occurred during the recording of Sarkodie’s Black Love virtual concert which lead to Stonebwoy hitting Sarkodie’s manager, Angel.

    After the unfortunate incident, Stonebwoy came out with a video apologizing to Sarkodie, Angel and the whole team for causing such a scene.

    Sarkodie also in a press release two days ago, accepted Stonebwoy’s apology and also apologized to him for any inconvenience caused him.

    With this withstanding, Gospel musician expressed his happiness about Stonebwoy’s apology to Sarkodie and applauded him for doing so.
