  • Real Reason Why Shatta Wale Left Asaase Sound Clash Before The Winner Was Announced Revealed

Real Reason Why Shatta Wale Left Asaase Sound Clash Before The Winner Was Announced Revealed

In an earlier report published by Dikorder.com, we shed light on the possible reason why Shatta Wale refused to battle his archrival, Stonebwoy during the famous Asaase Sound Clash which occurred over the weekend.

The show did not live up to expectation as the head-to-head battle which was expected to culminate the event never happened after the SM boss stormed out of the place when he performed his ‘Already’ song. Initially, it was speculated that Shatta Wale reportedly absconded the venue with his entourage much to the shock of everyone because he was afraid he could be floored by his rival since he’s not considered a good freestyler.

But in a fresh development picked by Ghbase, Shatta Wale left the place because he felt some Asaase insiders were manipulating the voting system which made him lose interest.

Apparently, some fans were crying foul that although they voted and had been deducted to that effect it wasn’t reflecting in the final outcome. Additionally, Wale wanted the highest texter to be awarded a car since Asaase Radio is reaping hugely from the clash.

So this is why he left but things have been sorted now.

  • Kuami Eugene and his cohorts are killing Ghana’s highlife – A.B Crenstil

Kuami Eugene and his cohorts are killing Ghana’s highlife – A.B Crenstil

Celebrated highlife musician, A.B Crenstil has made it emphatic that the current of artistes parading themselves as Highlife artistes are killing the genre with modern-day funky instrumentals.

To his best knowledge, the new highlife boys are making the genre, which was originated in Ghana, lose its identity with different kinds of instrumentals and it must be very worrying to patriotic Ghanaians who are music lovers.

    Speaking in an interview with Joy FM, A.B Crenstil envisaged that;

“I am disappointed in the current trend of artistes who have taken the highlife music. A lot of foreign genres are mixed with highlife sounds nowadays, making it feel it is adopted and making not great.

You can clearly hear the person doing funky music but the person will claim he is doing highlife music.

“These new highlife artistes are killing the highlife genre. I am very disturbed about this. The only Ghanaian keeping highlife burning is Kofi Kinaata.

On records, A.B Crentsil is a Ghanaian musician. Crentsil has won numerous Ghanaian music awards, including the Fontomfrom Evergreen Award, a special honour bestowed upon a musician with 15–20 years of continuous music experience.

  • I Don’t Have Any Issue With Stonebwoy, I Only Wanted To Trend – Samini

I Don’t Have Any Issue With Stonebwoy, I Only Wanted To Trend – Samini

Award Winning Raggae/Dancehall artiste, Samini has opened up on his social media rants on the ‘Asaase Sound Clash’  involving Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.

Samini, who was seen registering his displeasure in videos he shared on social media disclosed his motive when he was interviewed by DJ Seani B on Asaase Radio.

According to Samini, he rants on social media was a strategic move to help him trend and become relevant.

“My rants on social media about the clash was to have me trend, and I achieved that. It was my smart way to get involved as well. There is still unfinished business between me and Shatta Wale. I wasn’t surprised to see Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale names come up for the Sound Clash. My longevity in the game is good reason enough to include me in Sound Clash such as this one. I don’t see the reason why anyone would disagree with me on this,” Samini revealed.

He added: “I don’t see me and Stonebwoy having a ‘head on’ sound clash in a competitive bout because ‘Father & Son’ don’t have to do that, perhaps it would have to be a family vibe sort of with Stonebwoy on the microphone; if anything between me and Stonebwoy on the microphone it will be more like a party clash and not anything so serious. It still remains a family thing between me and Stonebwoy forever. HighGrade Family and Bhim Nation are family forever and I won’t change that narrative.”

Samini however applauded Asaase Radio for bringing together the two most controversial artiste in Ghana.

“I am proud of the genre I am part of. Aside my concerns raised, I am singularly excited about this. It is the best thing to ever happen in the history of Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall music. And the bigger reason for the clash which is to crush COVID-19 even makes me doff my hat for Asaase Radio 99.5fm,” he stated.
