    Ghanaians react as Kuami Eugene wins the VGMA21 Artiste of the Year

    The biggest Ghana music award, Vodafone Ghana Music Award (VGMA) is a platform that rewards good and talented Ghana musicians for their work within the year.

    This year was just as exciting and competitive as the years before. The most awaited artiste of the year award was announced last night and fans can’t believe who won it.

    The nominations for the award were Sarkodie, Kuami Eugene, Medikal, Kofi Kinaata and Diana Hamilton. But to people’s surprise, the winner of this year’s VGMA award was given to Kuami Eugene.

    Fans have expressed their displeasure after the winner was announced saying Kuami Eugene didn’t deserve the award since he didn’t produce much songs to earn that award.

    Another said, “VGMA is a scam. God is watching.”

    Kuami Eugene Crowned Artiste of the Year- #VGMA21

    Ghanaian music sensation Kuami Eugene has been crowned Artiste of the Year at the 21st edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

    Day two of the awards night did produce some very surprising moments as well as some spending performances by numerous artistes.

    Kofi Kinaata bagged home three awards, MOG Music won the Male Vocalist, Sarkodie won the Best Collaboration whereas DopeNation won Group of the Year.

    Kuami Eugene was crowned the Artiste of the Year which is the most prestigious plaque on the night of the awards.
