    Ghanaian Award Winning Reggae/Dancehall Artiste Livingstone Etse Satekla known popularly as Stonebwoy says the achievement of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in his first term is worth commending and endorsing.


    The Artiste made this known when he was on OKAY FM’s Drive Time Show with Abeiku Santana.
    Although Stonebwoy indicated that he has not endorsed any political party, he was emphatic that the President’s achievements in his first year are worth commending.


    I’ve not endorsed any political party. When you mention the name Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, I know he has done a lot of things which deserves my endorsement. So I can say I’ve not endorsed any political party but President Nana Akufo-Addo achievement as a Ghanaian President which is endorsable I do endorse.”


    Other celebrities like Samini have also endorsed the candidature of the President for a second bid to lead Ghana to the promised land. To him, the President while making his promises in 2016 seemed like a dream but his achievement in his first term has proven that he meant good for the people of Ghana.


    Ghana goes to the polls on December 7 to elect a leader who will steer the affairs of the country for another four more years.

    Stonebwoy donates white canes to blind community in Kumasi

    Dancehall musician Stonebwoy has committed to raising funds to purchase white canes for the blind and partially sighted community in the Ashanti region.


    The Putuu Hit maker made the spontaneous pledge when Ultimate fm’s Ivan Heathcote – Fumador approached him to give an endorsement with the white cane ahead of the International White Cane Safety Day.

    Out of the over 5000 members of the Ghana Blinds Union in the Ashanti Region, the latest needs assessment saw over 4,700 expressing their dire need for white canes.

    The tool which helps in the mobility of persons with disability is sold at the Ghana Blinds Union Resource Center at 70 cedis per copy, a price far outside the economic reach of several visually impaired persons in the region.

    This has rendered several persons living with blindness, incapable of travelling around freely to realize their full potential.

    Stonebwoy gave four hundred cedis on the spur of the moment and pledged to ensure that he takes up the challenge to purchase more of the canes for the Ghana Blinds Union to distribute to its members.

    He cautioned drivers, street hawkers and the citizenry at large to respect, allow passage and offer help to all persons who they find walking with white canes.
    “Let me use this opportunity to let all people know that once you are alive, you have not escaped disability
    because we are prone to injuries and accidents. We have to give priority to persons with disability,” he averred

    Advising drivers, He admonished “if you see these white canes with the red marks on it, you should know that these are people who are visually impaired and you have to accord them such respect to the maximum.”

    Stonebuoy further pleaded with hawkers who have taken over the pedestrian walkways, as well as the general public to be considerate to the plight of the blind and partially sighted in Kumasi.

    The Ghana Blinds Union in the Ashanti Region is taking advantage of the week’s world sight day and white cane safety day, to solicit funds from the public to purchase as many white canes as people are touched, to share among its members.

    The donation from Stonebwoy and his commitment to this course gives this campaign a bigger push.

    Why Shatta Wale Refused to Battle Stonebwoy During The Freestyle Session At Asaase Sound Clash

    The much-anticipated clash between unarguably two of Ghana’s finest Dancehall artistes, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy dubbed Asaase Sound Clash occurred over the weekend which was received with mixed reactions. The duel was put together by Accra-based urban radio station, Assase Radio to put to rest the age-long debate as to who is the greatest between the two.

    Hit songs from both artistes were played back to back as they all took turns to entertain the crowd for several minutes. However, according to the report we picked, there was supposed to be a freestyle session between the two so we could determine who is the real deal. That is basically what the concept of the clash entails but surprisingly the SM boss backed out.

    Shatta Wale reportedly absconded the venue with his entourage much to the shock of everyone which was contrary to was premeditated. Insiders say Wale was afraid he could be floored by his rival since he’s not considered a good freestyler.

    Stonebwoy has held his brand well from the start despite a few hitches here and there hence not surprising that a big brand like Tecno deciding to partner with him.

    The signing of the deal and the outdooring of Stonebwoy as their new Ambassador took place today with very few people attending.

    Stonebwoy after the signing had little to say as all he said was with this partnership, the world and Ghana should expect more.

    Nigerian female DJ and Producer, Dj Cuppy has touted Ghana’s stonebwoy as one of the most talented artists currently walking the surface of the earth.

    This was after the daughter of the Nigerian billionaire business mogul, Femi Otedala featured the BET Award winning Stonebwoy on her single titled ‘Karma’ which comes off her “Original Copy Album” released on Friday August 21, 2020.

    Ahead of the album release Cuppy shared a video on her Instagram in which she tagged her feature with Stonebwoy as a crazy song which she can’t wait to release.

    Overwhelmed by the experience of working with Stonebwoy, DJ Cuppy shared a video of her studio session with the VGMA artist of the year and shared another post in which she wrote “I swear Stonebwoy is one of the most talented artists in the world”

    Veteran hiplife raggae artiste, Samini has fired another shots at his “son” in the entertainment industry, Stonebwoy.

    In a video available to GhBase.com, Samini has warned Stonebwoy to desist from saying that he (Samini) never helped him in his career.

    According to Samini, Stonebwoy is an ungrateful being and when he also gets the chance to appear on Nana Ama Mcbrown’s United Showbiz show, he will gladly let it all out for all to see.

    Few months ago, Samini fired shots at Stonebwoy for making up with his colleague Shatta Wale. Samini who didn’t understand why Stonebwoy decided to patch things with Shatta Wale stated that he felt disrespected.

    Reacting to this, Stonebwoy told Samini that he had the right to talk with anyone he liked.

    ” I’ve always mentioned your name anywhere I go and let the world know you helped me when in actual fact you didn’t do anything. How does that make me ungrateful? I can talk to whoever I want and I don’t need your permission to do that”. Stonebwoy had stated.

    Well, in a new development, Samini doesn’t seem too pleased with the current events going on especially with the unfortunate incident that happened between Stonebwoy and Sarkodie’s manager during the virtual live concert held few days ago.

  • STONEBWOY REVEALS ON PLANNING A COLLABORATION WITH SHATTA WALE

     Ghanaian reggae/Dancehall artiste Etse Satekla popularly known as Stonebwoy has revealed to all music fans in the world of a possible collaboration with Shatta Wale which everyone should expect it.

    In an interview on BBC Radio 1 Xtra monitored by Dikoder.com, he was asked if he and Shatta Wale had plans of working on a project together since the fans are expecting a collaboration from them after their peace conference.

    We are willing to get the work done in no time, he stated. He also added that their fans are going to be happy about their song.

    “I am waiting for a collaboration too… He ( Shatta Wale) wants one too… We are both planing on it… It should come… I mean I’m telling you on authority the song should come… we are trying to put things in place”
