Due to this issue, a journalist took upon himself, to visit Action Progressive Institute or Action Secondary Technical School, which is educational institution for secondary and technical education and is located in Madina Estate in the Greater Accra Region of Southeastern Ghana. The school was also established in the year 2000 in the La Nkwantanang Madina Municipal District.
In an exclusive interview with Mr.Jerry Agyapong (The Head Master) and Madam Harriet Jackson (Assistant Head Mistress) this is what they had to say, respectively. I wasn’t happy to hear what happened to the said student in Accra Girls S.H.S. but I can say, that has make us to be more vigilant on our students here despite all the measures put in place on our campus.
He also said he is not that happy for the protest of parent against the hierarchy of the Accra Girls S.H.S, because as one student has been affected, the rest of the students are suppose to be tested and see if no other students has been affected too, then we can see the way forward. In conclusion, he said if the government of Ghana should cancel this year’s West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE), though it will be a big blow for them as heads of the various school, but he think it will be the right call from the government of Ghana, should anything like that comes up.

Madam Harriet Jackson (Assistant Head Mistress) also said the Parents should exercise patience though is quite alarming to hear your ward in school has been affected by this deadly disease. You might not have it easy though, but all that i can say for now is that parents should please exercise patience. She ended her views with a word of advice saying; all the student’s body in all the second cycle schools across the country should observe all the protocols very well. That is, wearing of the nose mask, washing of hands regularly under running water with liquid soap and all other protocols should be observer as such.
