    Nakeeyat Expose Millionaire Kofi Abban For Making Empty Scholarship Promise To Her

    After winning season 10 of TV3 Talented Kids, 8-Year-Old poet Nakeeyat Dramani Sam was promised a lifetime scholarship by millionaire Kofi Abban but she has disclosed that Promise is still fulfilled.


    Nakeeyat was bold to tell Delay that the business mogul played on her intelligence and rode on her win at the reality show just for hype.

    The oil and Gas entrepreneur promised to take care of the young talent after making it known how astonished he was at the kid’s gift.

    Although Nakeeyat took home a 10,000-cedi cash prize, a 15,000-cedi educational fund, an all-expenses-paid trip to the UK, as well as souvenirs from sponsors, she expressed disappointment in Kofi Abban not meeting his claims.

    She echoed that she is now convinced Kofi Abban had gone back on his word after several visits to his office with her parents.

    Nakeeyat is currently on a scholarship at the Royals School located at Adenta in Accra and she revealed that her scholarship runs till her Tertiary level education.

    She made an appearance on GN Radio UK and Hot Digital Radio in London after she was nominated for Poetry-Spoken Word Discovery of the year at the Comedy and Poetry Awards held in 2020.

    The talented Poet, Nakeeyat Abdul Dramani Sam lamented on the poor sanitation in Ghana.

    In an interview with DJ Advicer on Happy Fm, the eight year old talented kids winner spoke about the poor sanitation in Ghana and how the citizens are defecating in the Open.

    Nakeeyat said, “There’s a school of thought that says when the last tree dies, the last man dies so far that man, all I can say to him is that if he doesn’t take care and the last tree dies, there will be big trouble. “

    Sanitation is one of the biggest problem government and other are trying to put in place. Years back, there were law enforcers who were to punish people who littered around Ghana.

    According to Nakeeyat, until Ghanaians change the effort of the government and other stakeholders to solve poor sanitation will be of no use.

    We better change our attitude so we can develop otherwise, wahala dey…We can’t keep wasting resources on sanitation if the people responsible for the filth don’t change their attitude”. The young poet added.

    The Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources appointed Nakeeyat as the ambassador for Sanitation on 12th June, 2019 and since that the young poet has been on a campaign around the country on how to keep our country clean.
