    “Pastors Are Not Doctors, They Have No Power to Heal The Sick” – Efia Odo Explains

    Socialite Efia Odo believes pastors and preachers, in general, do not have any supernatural power as people perceive to heal the sick and restore their health.

    According to her, these pastors are just as natural mortal human beings like any other person thus they must not be seen as doctors who are tasked to heal people of their ailments.

    Efia Odo in a Twitter post bemoaned the quantum of trust some people have reposed in pastors with the baseless belief that they have the power of God to save the sick from dying.

    Her comment comes on the back of a woman she claims died in her neighbourhood due to negligence and her decision to entrust her health into the hands of a pastor.

    “If you or someone in your family falls sick, DO NOT TAKE THEM TO A PASTOR BECAUSE THEY DO NOT HAVE THE CAPACITY TO “HEAL”. Pastors can not heal because they are humans with no super natural powers. A woman in my hood just died due to negligence”

    However, comments she has received as far as this view is concerned do not seem to entirely agree with her point of view. Many still believe God has the power to heal the sick and has deposited that power in pastors.

    Video vixen and photo model, Efia Odo within the past few days has had a feud with comedian DKB after a comment he made.

    Efia Odo in a twitter post said Ghanaian celebrities are hungry, and they have fame and name but no money, which didn’t go down well with DKB.

    Replying to Efia Odo’s statement, DKB took to his social media page to throw some shots at Efia Odo saying she is mostly n@ked that is why she is broke.

    This post resulted in Efia Odo throwing a punch at DKB telling him he is low grade comedian and won’t waste time replying him.

    Efia Odo went ahead to write on her twitter page that DKB is always attacking him because of a request she refused him.

    According to Efia Odo, DKB  once asked her for the number of American comedian Michael Blackson but told him he would have to contact Michael first and with this, Efia Odo feels that is why DKB is always attacking him.

    Well, Efia Odo who is clearly offended by DKB’s comments has heavily descended on him.

    In his opinion, Efia was disrespecting the hard works of Ghanaian creatives in the likes of himself, Yvonne Nelson, Nana Ama McBrown, Yvonne Okoro and several others. He said;

    “When you are continuously removing pants and showing nipples like a pono auditions which company will take you seriously? Don’t say us when it’s just you, shut up and suffer your misery instead of disrespecting the creative arts field, some of us have made a living out of it and created jobs for others through it.     Actress Efia Odo says the system in Ghana is f*cked up and it’s too hard to make money in the country.

    Odo, in a couple of posts on Twitter, said Ghanaian entertainers are generally broke and the youth in the country has no future.

    Odo complained that a fast-food worker in the U.S makes more money than most Ghanaian celebrities and that majority of the celebrities in the country are famous for nothing whilst being broke.

    Somebody working in McDonalds in America makes more money than most of us celebs in Ghana. Ghana fame brings no money! All this fame and Artists are struggling. The people in position all need to be fired and new age minded people need to be hired. We need a reset button!” she said.

    Odo added that the young people in the country even have it worse and there’s no way to make money without resorting to fraud.

    “There’s no future for us, on God. How much do teachers, bankers, doctors make in Ghana?? It’s either you come from a good home or you’re doing fraud. Our structure in every aspect is horrible!” she added.

    This state of affairs is what has forced many celebrities, especially the female ones, to open up a side business alongside their careers – selling their body for cash.

    A fair number of them including Tracey Boakye and Moesha Boduong have openly admitted to this. Many of the others do it in secret but would deny it till their dying breath.

    According to her, a worker at McDonald’s in the states makes more money than most of the so-called celebrities based here in Ghana.

    Efia Odo shared these thoughts on her Twitter timeline where she called for a strong paradigm shift in all sectors of leadership to help the young secure a future that is devoid of a cosmetic show of grandiose and pomp.

    Despite the affirmative responses her post has received so far, others believe Efia Odo sees herself a celebrity thus a pot cannot call a kettle black since she may be setting herself up for ridicule.

    Emmanuel Arhin, a Manager of the multiple award-winning Afrobeats artiste, Sista Afia, has said managing the temperament of musicians forms a vital aspect in artiste management.

    Some Ghanaian artistes, he said, had over the years damaged their career and reputation by having anger-management problems which had disrupted their craft regardless of the talent they possessed.

    Mr Arhin who said this in an interview with the GNA Entertainment explained that the downfall of some of these artistes was the inability of management to recognize the personal peculiarities of their artistes and find a way to handle them when anger arose.

    “Sometimes it’s not the fault of the musicians but people who handled them. They are only humans and sometimes make mistakes but the managers have to understand what to do whenever a situation arrives.

    “You are separate individuals who have come together to work for a common good and that is to work on good music for your fans. The way you handle the anger of your artiste could make and unmake him or her and a peculiar situation is what happened between my artiste Sista Afia and Freda Rhymes over past months,” the Manager said.

    Mr Arhin, popularly known as “Bossu Kule” advised: “as a musician, it is very important to get along with other musicians and your fans most importantly since they play a vital role in your success. You will need collaborations and if you have a bad temperament, I don’t think other artists would like to engage you since it could damage their brand.”

    He urged other artists’ managers to pay attention to the egos of the act and change their attitude to help to sustain their craft.

    “You must let the artiste know that it is necessary to change his or her personality for the good of the business and ignore irritations or confrontations that trigger bad reputation in the eyes of the public,” he advised.

    Sista Afia is currently the most talked-about female musician, promoting her new single titled, “Party” which features rising music sensation, Fameye.
