NPP MUST APOLOGISE TO THE PEOPLE OF DORMAA AND THE ADUANA CLAN

The Dynamic Youth Movement Of Dormaa and Young Professional Group Of Dormaa (YPGD) on behalf of the good people of Dormaa traditional area and the entire Aduana clan wish to express our dismay on the unprovoked attacks and “naked” insults on Osegyefo oseadieyo Agyemang Badu (Aduana piesie), the paramount chief of the Dormaa traditional area.

John Boadu, the General Secretary of the ruling party is expected to be meticulous and well informed on issues of national interest before adventuring to pass pedestrian opinion which does not befit his position as the Chief Executive of the party in government.

As typical of the ruling government, arrogance and sheer display of power, Mr. Boadu, and his executives and government officials without cross checking the wise counsel of Osegyefo oseadieyo Dr. Agyemang Badu during a courtesy call on him by the Inter Party Resistance Against The Compilation Of New Register (IPRANR), jumped into the media landscape and started casting aspersions against the much respected king of the Aduana clan.

    APOLOGISE

The Dynamic Youth Movement Of Dormaa (DYMOD) and Young Professional Group Of Dormaa (YPGD), having carefully noticed the gross disrespect and unwarranted attacks heaped on the person of the Dormaa hene anytime he shares his opinion on national issues by some elements of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), as though it is a well hatched plan from the “top” can no longer be entertained.

Such clear display of impudence by John Boadu and his cohorts will be faced the next time with fierce opposition with equal measure of disrespect.

It is worth noting that, because of John Boadu’s reckless comment, another member from the NPP, one Abronye, whose mouth is filled poisonous words had the audacity to speak his low mind and empty-like analysis on the wise counsel of the revered Paramount Chief.

We, are told that Abronye, is an LL. B holder struggling to find his path on the way forward for his legal education.

For the avoidance of doubt, Nana, has been a member of the bar and bench for over two decades, it is surprising therefore, that such people of low I.Q, just because of party politics could talk back at high level, respected and a learned High court Judge, who’s rise to such an influential place in society was not due to annexing some cheap political power in clandestine manner.

For the records Dormaahene at no point in expressing his views on the electoral commission’s attempt to compile a new register said he will ban the EC from exercising it’s constitutional mandate on his land.

Dormaahene did not make a vague opinion about the register but rather professed his traditional, constitutional and wise counsel on why he thinks compiling a new voters register at this period will not help promote the hard earned peace and stability as a country as required for concensus building.

    Upon careful analysis of the reckless statement by John Bouadu directed on the person of the Dormaahene, we, the Dynamic Youth Movement Of Dormaa demand;

    1. A public apology to Osegyefo oseadieyo Agyemang Badu the paramount chief of Dormaa traditional area and the entire Aduana clan.

2.A statement from the leadership of the Npp against the attacks on Dormaahene by the rank and file of their party.

3.A personal appearance of Mr. John Bouadu to the Dormaa palace to perform the necessary rites to pacify the Dormaa stool and fortify the name of the Dormaahene.

We wish to send a word of caution to Mr John Boadu not to come with Kwame Baffo, to Dormaa palace since his safety cannot be guaranteed .

The aforementioned groups, having served this notice will be left with no option than to invoke the necessary remedial measures towards this unfortunate incident upon the refusal of the New Patriotic Party and Mr.John Boadu to comply with these requests.

  • Contractors’ in Trouble With Ghana First Judgement Debt Looms For MMDAs

Contractors’ in Trouble With Ghana First Judgement Debt Looms For MMDAs

Contractors’ in Trouble With Ghana First Judgement Debt Looms For MMDAs

In an interview with PRO For GFCL Mr Kwame Owusu Bampoe, into the ongoing impasse between contractors and Ghana First Company Limited (GFCL) over the construction of Clean Ghana Sanitation facility, has established that the Metropolitan Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) could be dancing their ways into paying huge judgment debt.

It would be recall that some contractors recently abrogated their contract with Ghana First Company Limited, citing ‘fraud’ and fundamental breaches in the whole contract.

These contractors who have abrogated their contract with the company claimed to be in consultation with some other foreign company to take over the contract; and hence will soon be entering into a service contract with the said company on the project.

This paper has established during its investigations that the decision taken by the contractors could land government into paying huge judgment debt as the Project Owner (Ghana First Company Limited) is indemnified and the Project Partner (MMDAs) cannot take the project away from the Owner for a period of 30 years.

A Clean Ghana Sanitation Facility Agreement signed between Ghana First Company Limited and the MMDAs indicted clearly that the Project Owner shall provide the entire funding for the construction of ultra-modern toilet facilities within the districts whilst the Project Partner shall provide land(s) and not funding for the project.

In Clause 3(ii) of the said Agreement, it was stated succinctly that, “the Project Partner hereby covenants that the land it shall provide shall be its self-acquired land with title, right and or interest in the said land having vested in the Project Partner. Furthermore the land so provided shall be vested to the project owner who is authorized to use the respective land for the purpose of securing funding only for this project.”

In indemnifying the Project Owner (Ghana First), it was noted that the Project Partner shall ensure that the “Assembly itself, agents, privies, assigns, servants, workmen whomsoever or otherwise howsoever during the tenure of any government shall not dispose the Project Owner from its ownership and that no person at law shall take over the property comprised in the project herein either permanent or temporarily and that the project is indemnified against all government interferences.”

However, the parties in the project agreed to enter a 30 years contract period during which period Ghana First will continue to own 90 percent of the facility built on the land whilst the Assemblies have ten percent equity.

Checks have revealed that, the Assemblies have until 30 years after which they can either decide to take over the project or allow the Project Owner the first option of renewal for another ten years, hence any other company coming in at this time to take over the project is an impossibility.

Meanwhile, the Agreement Clause 3(viii) states also that, “Where renewal is denied, ownership of the project is transferred from the Project Owner to the Project Partner. The Project owner then has the first option of a Management Franchise agreement with the Project Partner if the Project Partner so desires.”

The MMDAs being the Project Partners, will be paying all related legal cost arising out of any government interferences in the project.

It is also however revealing that, the contractors who have accused the Ghana First of defrauding them because it failed to pay them and for not paying them 60% of the contract sum as they claimed, have not completed the project within the stipulated and agreed period.

According to the contract signed with the Project Owner, the Contractors are mandated to complete the project within a period of three (3) calendar months, yet almost all the contractors are yet to complete the project even two years into the contract.

The contractors who have all signed onto the their various work schedules which will guide them in meeting the three months period, were to work on their various site on the project for 28 continuous days, yet have also flouted that provision in the contract.

Information received has indicated that the contractors who have written to the Project Owner (Ghana First) abrogating their contract with the company are taking steps to write to the Metropolitan Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) of their intention to bring in another company for the Assemblies to take the contract away from Ghana First.

Having S3x With A Woman On The First Date Doesn’t Make Her Cheap- Dzifa Tells Men

Relationship coach and sexpert, Dzifa Sweetness, has declared that the phrase ‘women are bad’, should have the ‘bad’ replaced with smart because that is what women are.

This came after she disagreed with her co-interviewee, Kumchacha on his assertion that sex on the first date is wrong.

Talking to Adwen, the Love Doctor on eTV Ghana’s adult edutainment show, ‘In Bed with Adwen’, she stated that a woman allowing a man to have sex with her does not mean she has nothing good to offer, like Kumchacha implied.

According to her, if a lady allows for sex on the first date, then she probably feels a connection with the man, has already analyzed his physical traits and is sure that they can have a relationship.

Dzifa said, “Women are very smart. If you’re making that statement that women are bad, omit the word ‘bad’ and replace it with smart because when we are talking to you, we observe how you talk, your dressing, your breath, your teeth, your finger nails, and everything about your appearance”.

The sex coach furthered that putting physical traits aside, what women cannot see is if the man has a disease, and that is why it is important to use protection during sex
