“The contractors are asking for some outages within some specific periods so that they can complete projects by the first quarter of this year’s deadline…We have to discuss with ECG on the requests that are coming up to look at how we can balance the load so that we can minimize as much as possible the impact it will have directly on customers while making sure that they can keep to their schedule,” he was further quoted by the portal as saying.

The Speaker of parliament is mandated by law to constitute the Parliamentary Service Board(PSB) (council of elders for the house). Are we saying Speaker who is NDC should appoint Npp persons to serve as his advisors?
All the people at the Speaker’s office have been replaced with NDC people. From the security, Secretary etc.
The PSB is not Based on Governmental Decisions
So what is wrong when the party agreed to allow general to serve on the board to help the speaker and our minority leader to put measures in place to steering the affairs of NDC towards victory 2024?
Remember, party decision needs to be taken into consideration to help the board as well, so surely a party person must be appointed by the speaker to serve both national and NDC interest.
The PSB is not Based on Governmental Decisions
Let us keep praying for our leaders and JM and hoping for the best in coming months.
NB: The PSB is not an executive appointed (Government). So general and hon Haruna are not serving on the parliamentary service board as Nana Addo appointees.
I know how disappointed all of us are but party strategies can’t be discussed in the public domain so let calm down and see what our leadership has for us towards victory 2024.
The PSB is not Based on Governmental Decisions Thanks.
The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Johnson Asiedu Nketia has been appointed to serve on the Parliamentary Service Board (PSB).
He was appointed by the Speaker of Parliament, Mr Alban S.K. Bagbin.
Other members of the board are the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Leader of Government Business in Parliament, Mr Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu, the Minority Leader, Mr Haruna Iddrisu and Mr Abraham Osei Aidoo, who is a former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament and former Majority Leader.
Asiedu Nketia appointed to serve on Parliamentary Board
The Parliamentary Service Board is chaired by the Speaker of Parliament, Mr Bagbin. Also on the board is the Clerk of Parliament, Mr Cyril Nsiah.
Let there be calm among the grassroots since our MPs will be whipped in line with the party and of national interest. 2024, NDC will take over.

2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers
“The ones that are going to be in red zone countries, they won’t be able to play those fixtures, the rest we have to allow them to go if they are fit and we will stick to the protocols and all the guidance we have to try to allow our players to go when they are safe,” Arteta said on Wednesday.
“Some might be able to play one game and not the next game so it’s a lot still to figure out. The doctor is in constant communication with the Premier League and the federations but it’s not too simple,” Arteta added.
A defeat in Johannesburg would put the Black Stars under immense pressure to defeat São Tomé in the final qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium on March 28.

You Can Be Affected by Coronavirus Even if Vaccinated”- Dr. Mwangangi
The Kenyan Ministry of Health has come out to clarify that COVID-19 vaccination does not prevent one from contracting the coronavirus.
In a press briefing on Friday, Health Ministry CAS Dr. Mercy Mwangangi said the vaccine only serves to boost the immune system and get it ready to fight the virus.
She added that even individuals who get the virus can still transmit COVID-19 to others.
“Getting the vaccine does not mean that you cannot get COVID-19. Getting the jab does not mean that you cannot transmit the COVID-19. What the jab does is that it makes your immunity system alert. It prepares you for war, should you come across the virus your immune system will be ready to fight and manage that virus,” said Mwangangi.
She, however, noted that vaccination will help reduce the number of severe cases being witnessed, most of which result in deaths.
“What we know is that this jab will prevent progression to severe cases for COVID-19 meaning the cases we report for severe cases are bound to reduce if we have the right number of people vaccinated and that is the usefulness of this vaccine,” said the Health CAS.
Dr. Mwangangi urged Kenyans to continue wearing masks and observing the stipulated safety protocols even after getting vaccinated.
“Remember getting this vaccine still requires you to wear your mask and social distance because you can still get the disease however mild and you can still transmit the disease,” she said.
