The founder and leader of Rivers of Life Ministry, Bishop George Nii Ayeh (OTAFREGYA), has warned those who are threatening the Anti-LGBTQ+ Petitioner to put a stop to that in order not to face the wrath of God.
According to Bishop George Nii Ayeh, he has heard that some people are threatening the Anti-LGBTQ petitioner, who is known as (OLUMANBA) a media practitioner.
It is a big sin to support LGBTQ, and also the Ghanaian culture doesn’t support those act- he added.
God’s angry will come upon Ghana if we legalize LGBTQ, so those supporting should be very careful else, they should be ready for God’s anger.
God is very happy with what the Anti-LGBTQ petitioner is doing so he has also promised to support him with prayers and all kinds of support that he needs.

The Ghana Police Service have arrested a popular footballer and sports commentator in the Sunyani Municipality called Richard Gyamfi Popularly known as ” Fire Man” for alleged murder. A Search in his room by the police saw three severed Human Heads packed in his fridge.

Confirming the news to Sunyani based Sky FM, the father of one of the the deceased victims, Mr Thomas Agyei explained that the footballer Reportedly lured his son, 13 years old Louis Agyemang Junior from a football park at Sunyani Abesim into his room and killed him.
The boy who is a twin had left to the park for football training.
In the evening, efforts to trace the young boy proved futile. One of his friends called Tweneboa informed the parents them that they saw him in the company of the sports commentator and footballer “Fire Man”.
When they approached him, he denied seeing the boy entirely. That gave the parents some suspicion because Tweneboa still insisted that the two were seen walking together in the afternoon.
A visit to the House of the sports commentator saw one of his doors locked. After interrogation, he explained that the keys to the room has gotten missing.
The Angry parents gathered some ” Area boys” to break into the room only to find the body of Louis Agyemang Junior lying postrate in cold blood with his head slashed away.

The area boys pounced on “Fire Man” and gave him some hot beating before he was handed over to the Sunyani Abesim Police. A Search by the police discovered human being body parts in a sack. In his fridge, he had three human heads including that of Louis Agyemang. The Abesim Police have also handed him over to the Bono Regional Police command for further investigations.
The three human heads and the body of Louis Agyemang Junior has been deposited at Best Care Mortuary at Mantukwa in the Sunyani West Municipality.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced that bronze medalist at the just-ended Olympics in Tokyo, Samuel Takyi will receive a cash reward of $10,000, a car and a further $20,000 to be put in a career development fund for him.
In addition, each member of Ghana’s 14-athlete contingent will also receive an amount of $5,000 for their efforts at the games.
All the athletes and officials for the games were also given medals by the president in appreciation of their performance at the games. However, the President announced that government has spent $150,000 in bonuses for Team Ghana’s athletes at the Tokyo Olympics.

Meanwhile, the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) has stated that Takyi would be included in the $5,000 package meant for athletes and officials at the Olympics in Tokyo.
That means the 20-year-old boxer could bag $15,000 cash reward for participating and winning bronze at the games.

“What the President meant was that each athlete and official that represented Team Ghana at the Olympics will receive $5,000 with the $10,000 being a reward for winning the bronze medal,” Ben Nunoo Mensah, GOC president explained.
Takyi’s bronze medal in boxing ended the country’s Olympics medal drought since 1992, and ended a 49-year wait for an individual medal at the multi-sport event.
Team Ghana’s 4x100m relay team also set a national record to book a spot in the finals of the event while Joseph Paul Amoah ran the fastest 200m time of any Ghanaian athlete at the games.

The president of the republic, Nana Akuffo Addo recently cut sod for the commencement of the construction of 111 hospitals across the country which is titled Agenda 111 hospital projects.
Reacting to this, Mr Samuel Boateng a political analyst has described the idea and the agenda as a brilliant one but government has to reconsider and complete the uncompleted hospital projects in the country and also upgrade the existing hospitals in the country which lacks the needed facilities for effective health care.
Mr Samuel Boateng stated that, considering the country’s economy situation, it is better for government to apply scale of preference by constructing the new hospitals for the newly created six regions and some other Districts that may need the hospitals at all cost and upgrade the existing hospitals that lacks facilities for health care.
He stressed that, the abandoned hospital projects that were in the stage of completion must also be attended to ensure that they are completed and well equiped for effective health care delivery.
Akwasi Asamoah, 23, a Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) final year student has committed suicide.
The sadden incident happened at Adoato-a suburb of Bantama Constituency of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly in the Ashanti Region.
Explaining the cause of the incident, a closed pal to the deceased, Akwasi said, he was with the late Asamoah last night around 11pm doing their normal chores.
He revealed that, the deceased recently changed his attitude and was behaving strangely and weirdly.
“He became quite, timid, somehow abnormal and always isolates himself from us”, the friend said.
“Last night he was so quite and I tried severally to push him to get a reason but to no avail. And this morning, we woke up to check on him in his house. The people of Suma-Ahenkro ( Konadu Yiadom electoral area) , a community in the Jaman North district have lamented on the poor nature of their roads and lack of Toilet Facility. They have threatened the parties to stay away from community to solicit for votes,if their Road, toilet is not fixed.
Residents expressed worry over lack of toilet facilities in the area, thus calling on authorities to come to their aid, so as to alleviate the suffering of the people.
“lack of lavatories there has forced them to attend to nature’s call in the bush or in black polythene bags, which they later dispose of at the communal dumpsite, a situation that threatens the health of the community.
“According to Assembly Man Hon Prince Atta Edward said, Despite persistent appeals to the Assembly on the urgent need to provide basic amenities in our community especially toilet facilities, nothing has been done to alleviate our plight in the area”.
He said, the present leadership of the assembly had not carried out any developmental projects in the area.

SUSPENSION OF ALL COVID-19 DEAD BODIES BURIAL BY ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH PRACTITIONERS IN GHANA
Good morning from Environmental Health Officers Alliance-Ghana ( EHOA-GH) Executives to all Environmental Health Practitioners in the entire 260 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) and the Media both Local and International.
With much grieve and sorrow we EHOA-GH from this Wednesday of August 18, 2021 have laid down our tools on the burial of all COVID-19 Dead Bodies in this Country until all needed Resources are given by the key actors in this COVID-19 Pandemic Era that’s the Ministry of Health (MoH) for that matter Ghana Health Service (GHS).
This has become necessary since over One(1) year now all COVID19 dead bodies buried in this Country by Environmental Health Practitioners all over the Country in some MMDAs lacks the needed Personal Protective Equipments(PPEs), Hearse, and other incentives which have already given to our counterparts in the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
Right from the day Ghana recorded it’s first COVID-19 Case, the Environmental Health Practitioners who are 100% Health Workers working under the Local Government Service (LGS) that’s Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) were exempted from all Trainings and Workshops which were organized by the Ministry of Health (Ghana Health Service) in all the Sixteen (16) Regions.
It sudens our hearts at this critical moment on why the Government of Ghana specifically H. E. The President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will neglect the only Public Health Law Enforcement Agents who are mandated by Section 14 of the Local Governance Act, 2016 (ACT 936) with Amendment (ACT 940) and E. I. 4 of 1976 in discharge of our mandated duties or job descriptions.
We EHOA-GH want to state on record without any fear or favour reference to Article 191 of the 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana and some Sections of the Labour Act, 2003 (ACT 651) that we have withdrawn our Services as enshrined in the Section 50 clause (c) of the Public Health Act, 2012 (ACT 851) with immediate effect.
EHOA-GH want to caution all Metropolitan, Municipal and District Chief Executives and any other person in the MMDAs who will try to victimize any of our members on all COVID- 19 Burials contrary to Article 191 of the 1992 Constitution of the Republic of Ghana will have the full forces of the Association descending on such a person without any fear or favour.
EHOA-GH Executives entreat all Environmental Health Practitioners in all the 260 MMDAs to stay calm as Executives engage Government on the needed Modus Operandi in the discharge of our duties on this Highly Infectious Virus COVID-19 Dead Bodies burials in our Country Ghana.

REPORT CASES OF ABUSE AND DEATH THREATS – GH GIRL’S GUIDE URGES WOMEN
The chief commissioner of the Ghana Girl’s Guide Association, Mrs. Abdul Zakiya Wahab has advised victims of domestic violence and death threats especially women and young girls in their various homes, to report all forms of abuse to her outfit or the Ghana Police service for redress.
She said most often, victims failed to report such issues due to societal norms and threats.
Mrs. Zakiya gave the advice in a press conference today in Accra following the recent spike of domestic violence against women and series of murder cases on women in the country.
She indicated that most often, victims of domestic violence or all forms of abuse were not reported to DOVVSU for fear that the perpetrators, particularly men, would be prosecuted or jailed.
She explained that it was not so because prosecuting or jailing the wrongdoers who were members of the family would aggravate the matter.
The Chief Commissioner said the unit rather invited the perpetrators to solve the issues through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) to bring peace and harmony in the affected family.

COMMERCIAL DRIVERS BLAMES PRIVATE CAR DRIVERS FOR CAUSING ROAD ACCIDENTS
The local chapter Chairman and Executive Board member of the Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU), Mr. Eric Asirifi, has revealed that private car drivers are the real causes of the rampant road accidents in the country. Mr. Eric Asirifi said most of the private cars mostly make the wrong overtaken relying on the small size of their vehicles and the amount of speed their cars can go at a given time.
He said the private car drivers will cause reckless driving and in other to Swerve it, the commercial cars rather end up getting the accidents.
Citing the recent accident at Juaso involving a Hyundai saloon car and a VIP Bus which claimed two lives instantly and the other gory accident at Teacher mante in the Suhum Municipality of the Eastern Region.
The GPRTU Chairman also called on the Ghana Highway Authority and the National Road Safety Authority to repair and replace Road Guards as it posses a threat to road users and commuters. Chairman Eric Asirifi said this during a workshop organized to sensitizes drivers and other road users in Accra today.

Surprisingly, a few days after, YEA and GHS signed a Memorandum of Understanding to train 3000 SHS graduates for six months on “Zoom Nurse Module” for the same work there are already trained and licensed professionals numbering over 20,000 in the house unemployed
Mr. Eric Kwakye disclosed that they have severally met with the Director HR of MoH on their posting, but nothing fruitful seems to manifest out of the engagements.

The ardent consumers of “Waakye and Banku” in the Twifo Ati-Morkwa district of central region have expressed dissatisfaction about the sudden decrease in the quantity of the food they buy.
Speaking with Listowel Aboagye Dacosta of Sweet FM, the custumers explained that, previously, with Gh5.00, one could get full plate of Waakye with fish, vegetables and fish or chicken. With same amount of money, one could equally get two big balls of Banku and fish or meat but of late, with same amount of money, you get nothing that can make you full they lamented.
In response, the “Waakye and Banku sellers in the Twifo Ati-Morkwa district also attributed the recent reduction in the quantity as complained by the customers to the current maximization in prices of beans and maize. The added that they used to purchase a bag of beans and maize Gh600 and Gh300 respectively however, there have been astronomical increments in the prices of beans and maize on the general market that has necessitated for a reduction in the quantity of their food.
