They are also Ghanaians-Okyeame Kwame hints

A highlife musician and a rapper, Okyeame Kwame have advised Ghanaians notably, those who seek the services of what we call ‘ Kayeye’ to treat them well. According to Okyeame Kwame, the treatment that some Ghanaians give to Kayeyes is so appalling to the extent that, they see them as people who are not their class, therefore, they need no respect.

Nevertheless, the state of the Kayeyes is not their choice but due to some circumstances that end them on the street. Therefore, Okyeame Kwame is appealing to everyone to treat Kayeyes as the way we treat those working in high institutions of which they can also advise them on their current predicament and help shape their lives.

Also, the small hitmaker also admonishes the Government to come to the aid of these innocent souls (Kayeyes) on the street. He can bring some sort of social interventions on board to elevate the status of them especially those under school-going age.

He made this comment during his encounter with the Jewels, characters of “A jewel in the street” , a reality show on TV Africa.
