Never compare Dr Likee to me, I’m legendary – LilWin
It’s no doubt that Ras Nene has taken over social media with his comic skits which have earned him praises from some individuals.
To many, he held the movie industry down when it was in shambles but it appears Lilwin thinks otherwise.
According to Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkasah aka Lil Win, Ghanaians should stop comparing him to Ras Nene because they are not of the same level when it comes to achievements.
In an interview with ZionFelix, Lil Win stated without mincing words that Ras Nene also known as ‘Dr. Likee’ is on a different level.
Lil win touted himself as a legend in the industry adding that Dr. Likee is just popular on YouTube.
Although he denied having a bitter relationship with Nene, he has asked fans to desist from the unnecessary comparisons.
“There’s a difference between a movie star and a YouTube star. It’s impossible to cross boundaries. For instance, I will continue to be a star until I die. My record is unbeatable. I have set a very high standard that will be difficult to break. I have over 2,000 movies. Don’t challenge a legend.

Engage grassroots in active party politics if you want to win 2024 polls — group tells NPP
The concerned Youth of NPP in the Atwima Mponua constituency of the Ashanti Region has said the New Patriotic Party (NPP) should actively engage the grassroots supporters in the party’s politics.
The move the youth believe can facilitate NPP’s win in 2024 as the party looks forward to breaking the eight.
Addressing the press at a news conference on Thursday, the leader of the group, Mr. Francis Feyin Akwaboah stated that, there are many instances the leadership of the party neglected the grassroots in terms of policy formulation and decision making. This he said has brought several agitations and confrontations amongst party members.
However, if the party is indeed poised to win the 2020 polls, several issues need to be addressed and in addressing those hitches, the party’s top hierarchy should consider involving the grassroots supporters.
According to him, the party can only enjoy long-term governance if the grassroots supporters, especially those in the Ashanti region are greatly involved in the party’s policy formulation.
He declared that the 2020 aspiring member of parliament on the ticket of NPP in the Atwima Mponua constituency, Mr. John Ofori, popularly known as “Commando”, contributed to the success of the party’s victory in 2020 despite losing to the incumbent.
The NPP youth boldly stated at the presser that, Mr. Ofori is the only individual who can mobilize the NPP youth to win the 2024 elections with huge figures in the constituency, therefore the party’s leadership should not hesitate to engage him in policy formulation and decision making.
Raising concerns about the many recent anomalies in the NPP, Mr. Francis Feyin Akwaboah noted that the leadership of the constituency must rise to maintain peace and order as soon as possible.

BLAME CHRISTIAN COUNCIL FOR RECENT RITUAL KILLINGS ___HON SAMUEL DANKWAH VOICE OUT.
Ghana recently has recorded many unfortunate murder cases across the country.
The situation has to pose fear and panic to the people in the country and many of these cases are from ritual murders.
The big question people are raising is the cause of these cases and the opinion of Hon Samuel Dankwah who is the Former Assembly Member at Besease Electoral in the Ejisu Municipality of the Ashanti Region has stated that, the major factors of these recorded cases are as a result of the showing of ritual programs on some of our Television Station in the country.
He explained that, as most of the youths are jobless, they are desperate to make money by any means and money rituals programs are available on some of our television stations, they get themselves involved and causing their fellows lives for money which is very dangerous for the country’s security.
With regard to this, the Christian Council of Ghana are to blame for allowing such ritual programs on some television stations in the country.
He, therefore, questioned the Christian Council of Ghana to come out with their duties as an organization in Ghana.
Barely four hours after the founder and leader of Glorious Word and Power Ministries Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah was denied bail and remanded into Police custody by an Accra High Court, he is said to have suddenly taken ill.
MyNewsGh.com gathers that the renowned Pastor who always boasts of being friends with the President of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has been rushed to the Police Hospital where he is on admission under armed police guard.
He is said to have been handcuffed to his sickbed while a police guard is stationed by him to ensure that he does not escape pending his discharge.
Sources at the Police Hospital reveal that he had been calling on friends in higher offices within the corridors of power to plead with them to get at least the handcuffs off him as he receives medical attention but that has proven futile.
It could be remembered that Rev. Owusu Bempah and four others were remanded by an Accra High Court for assaulting Police officers who were at his church to effect an arrest on Sunday, September 12, 2021.

GUINEA COUP: ECOWAS, AU, AND UN MUST BE PRESCIENT- Boadi William, EAI Boss.
Concerning the overthrow of President Alpha Condé, former president of Guinea and leader of the Rally of the Guinean People, and statements issued by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), the African Union (AU), and the United Nations (UN) condemning the overthrow of Guinea’s president by the elite military. I also deplore the above-mentioned organizations’ hypocritical condemnation of Col. Malady Doumbouya and his men’s actions.
Before President Condé was ousted, he committed unconstitutional acts. Following turbulent elections that the opposition rejected, President Condé was sworn in for a third term at a ceremony in Conakry.
The 83-year-old president pushed through constitutional changes in March allowing him for a third term to run despite a two-term limit. The move led to opposition candidates boycotting the October 18 vote and caused deadly clashes across Guinea.
Conde’s main rival, former prime minister Cellou Dalein Diallo, and other opposition figures alleged irregularities in the official poll results that showed Condé won with 59.5% of the vote. But the constitutional court president said they had produced no evidence and declared Condé the winner.
The ECOWAS, UN, and AU did not perceive anything wrong with President Conde’s unconstitutional move and even congratulated him on it. This, I believe, had a role in his overthrow as well. Inflation, which remained at 9.8% in 2018, exceeded double-digit levels, owing to increases in fuel prices and electricity rates, according to the military leader’s verbal statement and the World Bank in Guinea. Guinea has a wealth of natural resources, particularly in mining and hydropower.
Guineans should not be poor or suffer before earning their daily food, but this was not the case; there was a high unemployment rate, insecurity, and a high cost of living. The so-called ECOWAS, AU, and UN failed to notice and support the country which also contributed to his overthrow.
The military will be kicked out of ECOWAS if president Condé is not reinstated, according to an ECOWAS statement. Let me take this opportunity to sincerely ask ECOWAS and its leader, President Akufo Addo, what benefits ECOWAS countries receive. ECOWAS does not appear to work as it did in the past, according to my research. ECOWAS has devolved into a pointless organization that merely applauds criminals.
The fact that the good inhabitants of Guinea were even excited about the removal of their president proved that they were suffering greatly. On this point, I respectfully request that President Akufo Addo, ECOWAS leader, the AU, and the UN withdraw their superfluous proclamations, and instead join together with Guinea’s elite military to change the constitution, fight corruption, and make things work better.
Guinea has the right to expect more. Africa is entitled to a higher standard. Africa’s leaders must act now!.
EAI is calling for Peace and Stability. Africans must build Africa. It’s possible.

Corruption: OSP announces toll-free line to assist Ghanaians report cases
The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has announced a toll-free line to enable all Ghanaians and other persons to call the office and report corruption-related matters for further actions to be taken.
The toll-free number, 0800-000-700 was announced on the official Twitter handle of the Office of the Special Prosecutor on Sunday, September 12.
This move, according to the OSP, is to further help in reducing the corruption menace the country is saddled with at the moment.
The OSP urged everyone to “be part of the solution” in the fight against corruption.
It is recalled that the Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng during his swearing-in by President Akufo-Addo at the Jubilee House on Thursday, August 5 vowed to substantially reduce corruption, which he said was one of two pandemics confronting the country currently.
“Mr. President, we are confronted by two pandemics. One is a health crisis and its outlook is very macabre. The other is not a health crisis but it is also a pandemic which is corruption itself and corruption-related activities.
“The zeal with which your administration has approached the fight in respect of the health crisis are also seen in respect of the other pandemic, which is corruption.
“And as I come into this office, I pledge to the people of Ghana as I said exactly two weeks ago that I am going to work assiduously with deliberation to suppress and repress corruption.”
WATCH: GFA president Kurt Okraku blasts Premier League coaches over poor dressing
GFA president Kurt Okraku
President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku, has charged Ghana Premier League coaches to endeavor to dress well in the upcoming 2021/2022 football season.
According to him, some coaches dressed poorly for match and post-match interviews during the last Premier League campaign.
“Let’s be mindful of our post-match interviews, the way some of you coaches dress to appear for games is terrible,” Kurt Okraku said while speaking at the Uefa Assist programme organised for coaches last week.
The Ghana FA President continued, “Please, we are here to speak about the brand position and brand reposition, we are here speaking about adding value to the product we offer our consumers and you come to the game not well dress, you come to the game not properly dressed, please I will plead to you coaches to dress properly henceforth.”

Afghan universities will be segregated by gender, and a new dress code will be introduced, the Taliban has said.
Higher Education Minister Abdul Baqi Haqqani indicated women would be allowed to study, but not alongside men.
He also announced a review of the subjects students would be taught.
Women and girls were banned from schools and universities under Taliban rule between 1996 and 2001.
The Taliban have said they will not prevent women from being educated or having jobs. But since they seized control on 15 August, they have asked all women, except those in the public health sector, to stay away from work, until the security situation improves.
Sunday’s announcement of the higher education policy comes a day after the Taliban raised their flag over the presidential palace, signalling the beginning of their administration. They seized control from the elected government a month ago.
The policy marks a significant change from the accepted practice before the Taliban takeover. Female students did not have to abide by a dress code, and universities were co-educational, with men and women studying side by side.
But Mr Haqqani was unapologetic about that change. “We have no problems in ending the mixed-education system,” he said. “The people are Muslims and they will accept it.”
Some have suggested that the new rules will exclude women from education because the universities do not have the resources to provide separate classes. However, Mr Haqqani insisted there are enough female teachers and that where they are not available alternatives will be found.

“It all depends on the university’s capacity,” he said. “We can also use male teachers to teach from behind a curtain, or use technology.”
Girls and boys will also be segregated at primary and secondary schools, which was already common throughout Afghanistan.
Women will be required to wear hijabs, however Mr Haqqani did not specify if additional face coverings would be made compulsory
The newly installed minister also said that the subjects taught in universities will be reviewed. He told reporters that the Taliban wanted to “create a reasonable and Islamic curriculum that is in line with our Islamic, national and historical values and, on the other hand, be able to compete with other countries”.
The announcement comes after a demonstration by women supportive of the Taliban’s gender policies at Shaheed Rabbani Education University in Kabul yesterday.
Hundreds of women, most of them wearing black niqabs and carrying small Taliban flags, listened to speeches that praised the new regime and attacked those involved in large demonstrations across the country demanding the protection of women’s rights.
Since the Taliban were removed from power in 2001, enormous progress has been made in improving Afghanistan’s education enrolments and literacy rates – especially for girls and women.
10 million studentswere enrolled in school in 2018, compared to one million in 2001.

The report also said the female literacy rate had nearly doubled in a decade to 30%.
The Taliban’s new government has also replaced the Women’s Affairs Ministry with the Ministry of Vice and Virtue.
The much feared department was responsible for deploying religious police to the streets to enforce Sharia law during the Taliban’s previous spell in power. It became known for beating women for infractions such as dressing immodestly and being outside without a male guardian.
Many prominent professional women fled Afghanistan in anticipation of the group’s return to power. The country’s biggest pop singer Aryana Sayeed left the country on a US cargo plane and the famed film director Sahraa Karimi was evacuated to Ukraine.
