Deputy Bono East regional minister commends media for excellent role
Hon. Martin Oti Gyarko affectionately called “Local Boy” Member of Parliament for Techiman North Constituency who doubles as Deputy Bono East regional minister has commended the Media in Ghana for the excellent frontline role played in the fight against the novel Coronavirus.
Speaking in an interview with Hon. Oti Gyarko noted that had it not being the continuous education on our various platforms the figures of Ghana would have escalated with uncontrollable effects.
It is in this direction that he met the management of all 10 Radio stations in the Techiman Municipality at Encom hotel to thank them and also support their companies with some stimulus cash packages to cushion their work in these bad times.
Hon. Oti Gyarko confirmed that the current 13 positive cases of COVID-19 recorded in the Bono East region comprised of 11 males and 2 females who are all responding to treatment at the isolation centers.
