Black Stars general captain, Asamoah Gyan has to recognize Ghanaian superstar Abedi Ayew Pele as the pronounced footballer to have come from this country.
Gyan was a young footballer when Abedi Pele was at his peak and he is convinced that Ghana has never had nor seen a better footballer than the man known as the director.
Widely regarded as one of the most technically gifted players in Ghana’s football history, the former Marseille attacker became a household name for his incredible dribbling and passing skills and Ghana’s all-time top scorer still have memories of some of the magical moments the legend had on the field.
According to Gyan, when he was growing up, Abedi was someone we all looked up to, he was playing the best of footballs in the country and there’s no doubt, he is incomparable he said this in an interview. Indeed he is a superstar.
